Market Place announces Comedy festival

The Market Place Theatre has announced that its May Bank Holiday Comedy Festival 2004 will be running from Friday, April 30 until Sunday, May 2.

This will be the third year of the festival and it is hoped that it will follow in the success of the previous two.

The festival features top international and Irish talent. Omagh funnyman Kevin McAleer will be opening the festival on the Friday at 8pm with tickets priced at £11.

Jack Milner presents a Comedy Writing and Stand Up Workshop at 10am on Saturday morning. There is a maximum number of 20 places and the fee is £5.

Other big names in the world of stand up comedy appearing at the festival including James Campbell and Dylan Moran.
