International Supercross returns to Tandragee

Tandragee Moto Park will host Round two of the Polisport / MCCNI, Ulster Supercross Championship, on Wednesday 15th June.

The battle of he champions will continue, series leader, Neil McKeown will have his hands full, local ace’s Phil McCullough, Robert Hamilton and Wayne Garrett will be joined by UK and Grand Prix regular Shaun Simpson.

But all eyes will be focused on Tandragee racer, Mike Sinton GOMX / Russell’s / Intouch Yamaha, the talented twenty one year old will want to put on a good show for his many local fans.

The Lauralvale circuit is spectacular, with 100% view of the entire circuit, which will test the skill and bravery of the riders, as the £5000 prize fund pumps up the adrenaline level.  It was the  “older statesman” of Irish racing that dished out a lesson in Supercross skills at round on in Ballymoney, Brian “Supercross” Steele won two moto’s and will be there to take home the big pay cheque.

With the British Championship running at Desertmartin on June 18th, several top UK riders including Oliver Sandyford Smith and Chad Yarrington have confirmed their entry for the Wednesday evening spectacular.

Grand Prix racer, Gordon Crockard will run the Red Bull mx academy for invited youth racers, as part of the ongoing talent search for possible Red Bull athletes of the future, both Gordon and Superbike racer, Johnny Rea are products of this program.

Short sharp races, with double jumps, whoops and the “Dash for Cash” finale, an exciting evening of entertainment awaits, admission is only £5, with children Free.

Bouncy castles and Mini Bikes should be on hand to add to the family fun atmosphere that follows the summer series every year.
