Armed gang attacks pair in flat

A man and a woman are being treated in hospital after they were attacked by a gang in Armagh.

Three men with baseball bats entered a flat in the Banbrook Hill area of the city at about 0430 BST and assaulted the couple.

The police are still trying to establish a motive for the attack.

They are keen to hear from anyone who saw three men entering or leaving the flat or noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time.
